Hi! I am Travis Campbell and I am a seasoned Linux Systems Engineer with nearly two decades of experience, ranging from dozens to tens of thousands of systems in the semiconductor industry, higher education, and high volume sites on the web. My current focus is on High Performance Computing, Big Data environments, and large scale web architectures.
I focus on building robust, large scale Unix and Linux infrastructures that can co-mingle with Windows and Mac OS platforms. My interests tend towards monitoring, configuration management, web and database services, and general world-building. Lately, I have been focusing on big data efforts with Hadoop and HBase.
When not working on technology, I spend my time immersed in photography and woodworking.
